Our Plan moving forward...

Pathways has always been proactive in maintaining our pool so it remains available to our entire community. This past Fall, knowing the pool is over 30 years old, we contracted an Architect to provide us with an infrastructure assessment – basically to comment on the status of all our pool systems (water lines, pumps, filtration systems, etc.) This report would provide us with the information we needed to plan for the future of our pool.

Unfortunately, over the Christmas break, we discovered a leak in the pool. We were able to confirm that the leak was in our main drain.

We are now also working with an engineer to identify exactly where the leak is located in the main drain piping, so we can determine the extent of the damage and the cost of the repair.

At the same time, we will look to our Architect’s report to determine if further repairs or system refurbishments are required to other areas of the pool.

Once we have these two pieces of the puzzle, our Pathways Board can responsibly move forward planning our next steps.
