Training<p>An orientation session with the supervisor of volunteer services is given to familiarize the new volunteers with policies, procedures, and practices; i.e. confidentiality, universal precautions, dress code, etc. </p>
<p>Periodically, there are in-services (some are mandatory) to familiarize the volunteers with the types of children and disabilities in the programs. </p>
<p>Training is on-going and hands-on.</p>
