  • Helps Pathways clients to participate successfully in therapy sessions at Pathways Health Centre for Children and in licensed community child care programs.
  • Supports families to carry over behaviour strategies to the home environment and to connect with other helpful service providers in their community.
  • Clinicians, childcare educators, and families play an important role in identifying goals and the consistent use of strategies.
  • Strategies typically take a proactive approach including environmental modifications, building skills, establishing routines, exploring replacement behaviours, incorporating visual strategies, etc.
  • Educational workshops are also available. Information about workshops will be posted on our Facebook page or may be provided at childcare centres upon request.
  • The first step in accessing Behaviour Support Services is speaking with your Pathways therapist(s), Resource Teacher or Service Coordinator to help determine if a referral is appropriate for your family.  From there, an internal referral can be made for your child by a Pathways therapist.
