Assesses hearing, prescribes and dispenses equipment to improve hearing, and offers support to cope with hearing loss
Assesses clients when speaking or writing is physically difficult or limited, recommends and/or prescribes equipment and trains and supports clients and caregivers for equipment use
Helps families find solutions to behaviour issues and find new ways of interacting with one another
C.A.C.H.É. Child Care Service is an integrated program serving children with special needs and typically developing children ages 18 months to 6 years of age.
Early Learning Resource Teachers work with community childcare staff and Pathways staff to support children with special needs in licensed child care and in Full Day Early Learning Classrooms
Assesses difficulties with chewing, swallowing, choking, gagging, and drooling, recommends and provides support for strategies and/or equipment, works with families, physicians, licensed child care staff, school staff, and other caregivers
Includes Respite Services and Special Services at home
Provides contact with medical specialists (Family Medicine, Neurodevelopmental Paediatricians and Orthopaedic Surgeons)
Assesses clients who are experiencing difficulties with daily activities and recommends, prescribes equipment and offers support to help clients be as independent as possible
Assesses movement skills like rolling, crawling, sitting, standing, walking and running as well as recommends, prescribes equipment and offers supports to increase strength, stretch muscles, gain endurance, and improve movement, balance, coordination and fitness
