Sharing some exciting news: Pathways is seeking youth members for our Youth Advisory Council!
Our first event is being held here at Pathways on Thursday November 6th from 6-7:30pm in the Lambton Room.
FAQs:
Am I eligible?
– All youth in our community ages 12-21 who have accessed services, or have a close friend or relative who have accessed services at Pathways are welcome
What if I need support?
– No problem – we’ll work together to accommodate supports – just let us know.
What’s happening?
– Our first meeting will be an information session to share what a Youth Advisory Council may do, you’re going to help us bring the youth voice into conversations to positively influence things at Pathways
What’s in it for me if I participate?
– Volunteer hours
– A commitment to attend meetings/forums/focus groups
– Leadership and committee experience
– An opportunity to share the youth voice to positively influence things at Pathways
