About Our Pool

Thank you everyone for your patience and support this pass year as we continue to navigate through these COVID-19 challenges.

We have successfully completed our pool renovations!!! Thank you to all our local companies and contractors who helped make this a success.

Our new pool features the highest water quality including a UV filter system, media water filter and automated chlorination system. These features will provide lower chlorine levels while maintaining the highest water quality for our patrons. 

COVID-19 Protocols- User Guide for Pathways Pool

New Requirements from Lambton Public Health

  • Each person, age 12 years and older, at the point of entry, who attends the indoor area of the Facility for the purpose of a recreational sport such as swimming lessons and other recreational swims must:  
  • Provide identification and proof of being fully or partially vaccinated against COVID-19 or a valid medical exemption as of October 31, 2021.
  • Provide identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or a valid medical exemption as of November 30, 2021.

Ages 12-17 participating in a therapeutic aquatic programs are exempt.

  • Anyone entering the Pathways pool area must pass COVID-19 screening.
  • As per Ontario regulations, we will now require ALL Adult (18+) patrons accessing the Pathways aquatics facility for any purpose, to provide proof of identification and of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the point of entry.   • Youth under 18 years of age actively participating in an organized sport such as swimming classes are exemption from the proof of vaccine requirement.
  • If you have a medical exemption, proof is required. Please contact the Pool Supervisor for details.
  • Walk-in registrations will not be permitted.
  • Swim times and availability are subject to change due to COVID-19 restrictions and facility resources.
  • Our viewing room is closed at this time; spectators are not permitted in the facility.
  • All swim programs have reduced capacity as per the Lifesaving Society and Ministry of Health COVID-19 regulations.
  • Masks are to been wore at all times excluding showering prior to swim and once entering the pool.
  • Social distancing of 2 meters from others is required at all times.
  • Please use the Aquatic Pool entrance only and arrive no early then 10 minutes before your swim time.
  • Check in at the Aquatics entrance upon arrival and select a change room and changing area.
  • Change rooms– In order to maintain social distancing within our change rooms, they will no longer be used as Men’s, Women’s and Family change rooms. They will be assigned as Change Room #1, Change Room #2 and Change Room #3. Within each of the change rooms there will be colour-coded changing areas (pods) and colour-coded showers (before entering the pool only).
  • Patrons are required to come dressed in swimming attire under clothes to reduce change room time.
  • Showers are required prior to entering the pool only in accordance to pool regulation O. Reg. 494/17, s.
  • Showers will not be permitted after any swims in order to reduce change room time.
  • Lockers will not be available for use. Please leave any valuables at home or locked in your vehicle.

  • Drop-in swim registration will be completed on a day by day basis. This will prevent unforeseen cancelation and ensure all COVID-19 screening is completed on the day of.
    • registration for adult leisure swims opens daily on Amilia at 8:00 am on the day of the program
    • registration for parent and tot as well as family swims daily on Amilia at 9:00 am on the day of the program
  • Swim lessons are session based
    • client registation on Amilia on Tuesday, September 28 at 9:00 am (access code is required)
    • community registation on Amilia on Tuesday, October 12 at 9:00 am
  • For individuals requiring online assistance, phone-in registration and screening will be provided between 9am – 10am daily.
