Pathways Health Centre for Children Announces New Chief Executive Officer
Sarnia, ON – October 8, 2026:
Pathways Health Centre for Children is proud to announce the appointment of Paula Gilmore as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective November 9, 2026.
Paula brings over 25 years of healthcare experience and a distinguished track record of leadership and strategic vision. Currently serving as the Director of Rehabilitation Services, Stroke, Geriatrics and Rural Health at Bluewater Health, Paula is widely respected for her integrity, collaborative approach, and dedication to building high-performing teams that deliver meaningful outcomes for patients, families, and communities. Paula’s career has been defined by a focus on improving access to care, building partnerships, and advancing innovative, patient-centred models of service delivery.
A Registered Occupational Therapist with early clinical experience in both pediatric and community care, Paula holds a Master of Science from Western University and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University. She also holds the Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders. In addition to her executive roles, she is a Team Leader and Surveyor with Accreditation Canada and has served on numerous provincial and regional committees focused on rehabilitation, stroke care, geriatrics, quality improvement, and system planning.

Paula will join Pathways Leadership Team in guiding Pathways’ mission to deliver defined services to children, youth and young adults with physical, developmental and communication needs, to help them achieve their potential for a better quality of life.
Paula succeeds Alison Morrison, who retired from her role as CEO on September 4, 2026, after 28 years of dedicated service.
